I probably started with my dad's love for tinkering, and my regular role as his intrepid assistant. Things may have gotten more broken before they got fixed but as a result I could rewire plugs without causing the fuses to blow by the time i was 6. From then on I spent a large part of my time making things out of any material I could lay my hands on.
Fast forward 12 years and I enrolled at Central Saint Martins in London where everything I thought I knew about visuals was tested. It was at this point that the magic of photography won me over and I proceeded to pump all my efforts into learning as much about it as I could; eventually that included assisting some of the greatest photographers working today. My love of being on-and-around shoots brought me to Dubai in 2012 to work as a producer, but after an exciting 3 years I realized I had gotten so far away from what I had originally wanted to do: make things.
In 2015 I decided to start all over again and go after what truly excites me. Saying the jump was scary would be an understatement, but its one of the best decisions I've ever made. Now I get to dream up weird and wonderful things and actually see them come to life; it makes it even better that I get to share them with other people.
I’ve been enormously lucky to have so many photographers, producers, stylists and creatives actively support me in taking the leap; what you see in my folio is the fruit of those relationships.
Hopefully, there will be much more to come.
